I am a hardworking and organised Producer who has 3 years experience working on AAA projects for PC & Console.
I enjoy working with highly talented developers to create important and relevant projects, and believe that a Producer's role is to not try and force solutions, but to work with the developers to solve problems together. Liaising with my teams has given me a sense of appreciation of the multitude of problems and solutions that can arise during games development. During my Placement Year in 2020/21, I started up my own studio and worked with freelancers across the world to develop a mobile RPG title. During this year, I spoke to my peers about the benefits and challenges of completing this flavour of Placement and wrote a blog post for the University of Portsmouth detailing my journey. Outside of work, I am a huge fan of horror games - Outlast was the game that got me interested in a career in the games industry. This interest has seeped into my education, and I decided to balance both my career and academic aspirations by undertaking a part-time Masters researching the effect of personality traits and display type (VR headset or PC monitor) on an individual's responses to the Uncanny Valley. |
