I am a hardworking and organised Associate Producer currently working on some very exciting projects at Stellar Entertainment in Guildford.
I enjoy working with highly talented developers to create important and relevant projects, and believe that a Producer's role is to not try and force solutions, but to work with the developers to solve problems together. Liaising with not just my team, but other teams in my Final Year, has given me a sense of appreciation of the multitude of problems and solutions that can arise during games development. During my Placement Year in 2020/21, I started up my own studio and worked with freelancers across the world to develop a mobile RPG title. During this year, I spoke to my peers about the benefits and challenges of completing this flavour of Placement and wrote a blog post for the University of Portsmouth detailing my journey. Outside of my studies, I am a huge fan of horror games - Outlast was the game that got me interested in a career in the games industry. This interest has seeped into my academic career, with my Undergraduate Dissertation exploring the link between Uncanny Valley sensitivity, personality traits, and video game genre preferences, and the implication of that link on horror game character design. |
